TV Destroyed During Rage

A Summerville man admitted to damaging his television during a fit of rage Tuesday morning, according to police reports.

Kay;a Hudgins said the father of her child, Roger Siffles Jr., 21, went “into a mad rage” and busted a TV with his fist and caused it to fall to the floor and it allegedly hit her leg, Summerville Policeman Matt Pritchard stated.

“He then threw a cigarette lighter at her striking her in the arm. Then she alleged this happened while she was holding a six-month-old baby,” Officer Pritchard stated.

Siffles confirmed that he broke the television but denied that the child was present. He also denied throwing a lighter.

“He then admitted to Christy Williams a State of Georgia social worker that he had used drugs and that he would fail a drug test for marijuana,” Pritchard reported.

Siffles was arrested for disorderly conduct, according to reports.

Ah, the good ole standby of disorderly conduct. Thats what cops use to arrest you when you arent guilty of anything and they want to arrest you. Hopefully oneday this overly used and abused law will be struck down. I see cops commiting offenses that could fall under disorderly conduct every day, as well as every single person that breathes and goes out of their homes and interacts with other people. Cops in this county need better training, better education, and better oversight. Fat chance thats ever going to happen with the current administrations however.
