Man Confesses To Burglarizing A Summerville Home

A 34-year-old local man admitted to breaking into a house on Wood Street, according to Summerville Police reports.
A witness spotted Arlonzo Johnson, of 35 Fourth Street, breaking into the Wood Street house.
“Upon arrival officers found the front door had been forced open with a screwdriver that was left at the scene,” Chief Det. Brian Ozment stated.
Cops found Johnson on Third Street and arrested him for burglary, according to reports.
“Upon being questioned at the scene, offender made an admission about going into the residence in order to find a particular item he needed. The offender was transported to the Chattooga County Jail without incident,” Det. Ozment stated.
