Man Steals And Then Uses Debit Card Because He’s Mad

A thief allegedly told a Summerville woman that he stole her debit card because he was mad at her, according to a Chattooga County Sheriff’s report.

Lisa Ragland said someone took her debit card and used it to make a $500 withdrawal from Regions Bank’s ATM in Cedar Bluff, Ala., last Thursday. Another $60 was used down the road at a Dollar General a few minutes later, according to an incident report.

Ragland had a good idea of who took the money, according to Deputy Nicole Sprague. Ragland confronted the suspect on the phone. The suspect admitted to taking and using the card because he was made.
