Hit And Run Crash Reported At Local Garage

A Menlo man said he was the victim of a hit and run crash, according to Summerville Police reports.

Charles Edwin Massey, 19, said someone struck his black 2006 Chevrolet Silverado truck while it was parked at the Corner Garage near the intersection of Hwy. 114 and Hwy. 48.

Someone struck the rear left bumper and tail light area. The light was destroyed and the bumper received extensive damage, Officer Lt. Tim Fulmer stated.

White paint left from the other vehicle was noted on Massey’s vehicle that might have transferred during the crash.
