Two Arrested For Fighting On Fourth Street

Two Chattooga County residents were arrested Saturday afternoon for fighting on Fourth Street, according to a Summerville Police report.

Tameesha S. Shropshire, 37, of Summerville, and Lasitory Kinte Shropshire, 41, of Summerville, were fighting around 1 p.m., according to reports.

“Mr. Shropshire was heavily intoxicated and began to argue with officers on the scene. He continued to be loud and boisterous and kept talking over officers. He had been involved in a verbal domestic with his sister Tameesha Shropshire. City units responded to this address earlier for a similar incident. Both parties were placed under arrested for violating the city of Summerville disorderly conduct ordinance,” Officer Matt Pritchard stated.
