LUCILLE M. SPAIN GREEN
MRS. LUCILLE M. SPAIN GREEN, age 101, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at her residence. A Summerville, Georgia native, She was born to the late Joe and Maude Ash Spain on August 9, 1917. Mrs. Green was the oldest current member of Summerville First Baptist Church, a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class, was retired from the sewing department of Best Mfg. Company, and preceded in death by her husband, the late Woodrow W. Green on December 19, 2007.
Surviving are daughter and spouse, Nancy and Dave Crowe; grandson and wife, Shane and Jana Crowe; great grandchildren, Tanner, Colin, Addie, Chase, and Grace Crowe; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 26th, at 2:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Dr. Paul Mason, Rev. Doyle Waters, and Brother Sean Wegener officiating, interment in Summerville Cemetery. Active Pallbearers Alan Green, Douglas Stephens, Ronnie Stephens, Stan Reynolds, Greg Farrell, and Don Hayes; Honorary Pallbearers the Fellowship Sunday School Class of Summerville First Baptist Church. The Family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
