Group Looking To Paint And Do Minor Repairs On Home Exteriors

Does your home need painting or some minor repairs to the exterior, but you don’t have the money? If so, the Coosa Valley Habitat for Humanity might help.

They are taking applications for their “A Brush With Kindness” program. It’s for low-income homeowners who do not have the physical or material means to maintain their home, especially elderly person. Participants must repay a small, zero-interest loan.

Application packets are available at the Chattooga Chamber of Commerce office at 44 Hwy 48, Summerville, GA 30747. They can pick up the application packet, complete it and return it to the DFACS office in Summerville.
