Refrigerator Was Vandalized In Summerville

Someone damaged a Summerville resident’s refrigerator that was sitting outside his home early Thursday morning, according to a police report.

Roger Frizzell, of Scoggins Street, discovered that someone had knocked over his refrigerator and one of the doors was ripped off. Someone made several dents and scratches on it also, according to Summerville Police Officer David Westbrooks.

“He also discovered that someone had kicked the side of a green Ford Explorer that was sitting in front of his apartment leaving a shoeprint on the door and side window,” Officer Westbrooks reported. “[Frizzell] stated that he had the refrigerator scheduled to be sold [on May 3] to an individual for $200. Now he was unable to sell it.”
