Tombstone Stolen From Pennville Cemetery

A grave marker is missing from a Pennville cemetery, according to a Chattooga County Sheriff’s report.

Tracy Henderson, of Kimble, Tenn., came to visit her mother’s grave as she does on every Mother’s Day. When she arrived this year to Greenhill Memorial Gardens, however, the grave marker was gone.

“Miss Henderson advised that she has tried to call the caretakers in reference to the incident but is unable to get them to call her back,” Deputy Rebecca Farmer stated. “Miss Henderson advised she paid $ 1126.12 for the grave marker.”
