Free Performance Of Broadway- Style Musical Set At Local Church


On May 25 the Shining Light Players will present “The Hiding Place: Life of Corrie ten Boom”, an original musical based on the bestselling book of the same title.
The star-studded cast includes Metropolitan Opera tenor, Ray Gibbs, acclaimed soprano Leah Hill, and Alisha Burke, who originated the role of Corrie ten Boom, and is known on television and radio around the world.
Thrust into a world of spies and espionage, Corrie ten Boom, together with her sister Betsie and her elderly father Casper, heroically hide Jews from the Nazi invaders in their little town in Holland. This full-length musical will touch and inspire audiences as it tours the East Coast.
The musical will be presented at New Haven Baptist Church, 247 Dot Johnson Dr. Summerville, GA at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 25.
Admission is free. A freewill offering will be taken.
Shining Light Players is a Christian theatre company based in Pensacola, Fla. Over the past six years they have produced several plays and musicals at the Rex Theatre and have been touring the United States.
