Mary Francis Avans

Mary Francis Avans, age 90, of Trion, GA, died Friday, May 24, 2019, at the Oakview Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Avans was born November 14, 1928, in LaFayette, GA, daughter of the late Bud and Grace Wallin.

Mrs. Avans is survived by her son, James Donald Avans; a daughter and son-in-law, Deloris and Doug Turner; grandsons, Brian (Jill) Keith Avans, Andy (Brittany) Avans; and great-grandsons, Brandon Avans, Bryson Avans, and Landon Avans.

Graveside services for Mrs. Avans will be held at 2:00 Sunday, May 26, 2019, from the LaFayette Memory Gardens with Rev. Randy Avans officiating.

Mrs. Avans will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Saturday, May 25, 2019.
