Teachable Moment Found At Trion Fire Scene

Summerville Fireman Trey Skelton offers plastic yellow hats to youngsters on Monday afternoon. Summerville was helping the Trion Fire Department work a structure fire at 265 Rose Circle. Skelton talked with the youngsters while other firemen located the source of the smoke that was filling the home. Each year the fire departments talk with different school groups and show young children that firemen, although dressed in their turnout gear, are not scary folks.
