Rolling On The Chattooga Kayak Race And Fun Paddle Are Planned

The Summerville-Trion Optimist Club is sponsoring its first Rolling On the Chattooga Kayak Race and Fun Paddle from Lyerly to Chattoogaville on Aug. 17.
The race begins at 9 a.m. and the paddle begins at 10 a.m. starting at the Lyerly Boat Launch.
The fee is $25 per person. There is a limit of two persons per boat. All proceeds go to the Optimist Club Scholarship Fund.
Cash prizes will be awarded to race winners.
Live music and food will be available at the finish.
