Audie Mae Helton

Audie Mae Helton passed away at home on June 30, 2019. She was 85 years old. She was a member of Old Way Baptist Church in Trion. Audie Mae worked at E.T. Barwick Mills until its closing and retired from Queen Carpet.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman M. Helton; mother, Martha and father, Manuel Bradley; sisters, Amy Arnold and Janice Webb; brothers, Alvin, Frank, Duke, and Wayne Bradley.

She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn (David) Thompson of Trion; son, Harold (Brenda) Helton of Trion; granddaughter, Allison (Nick) Salas of Hendersonville, Tenn.; grandsons, Jamie (Samantha) of Cartersville, Jace (Erica) of Chatsworth, Ga.,  and Joseph (Adriana) Thompson of LaFayette; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Bro. David Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service after 1 p.m.

Interment at LaFayette Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers are Jamie Thompson, Jace Thompson, Joseph Thompson, Chris Reynolds, Richard Bradley, and Duke Bradley.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
