Trion resident Sheria Glass stopped by George’s Quick Service on Highland Avenue and encountered a man who used curse words toward her, according to an incident report.
She paid for her items and left. The man also left about the same time in a red four-door car. The man followed Glass down Highland Avenue to the traffic light at Sixth Street.
“The male subject pulled up beside her and had something in his hand, possibly a handgun. She then turned right onto Sixth Street to get away from him and called 911,” Officer Ricky Van Pelt reported.
Officers did not locate the offender, according to a report.
