Hee Haw Tribute Shows Scheduled For Saturday

Summerville Main Street is set to present a Hee Haw Tribute Show on Saturday, July 13 inside the Summerville Depot Freight Room with a special Summerville twist! The public is invited to come enjoy lots of classic Hee Haw skits like the telling of “Rindercella”, Samples Sales, Gossip Girls, Empty Arms Hotel, and more. All proceeds from this event will go towards the purchase of Christmas Decor and Lights for Downtown Summerville and Dowdy Park. The cast of over 20 members will present 90 minutes of laughter and toe tapping fun!

Tributes to Minnie Pearl, Archie Campbell, Don Harron, Misty Rowe, Gunilla Hutton, Grandpa Jones, Linda Thompson, Junior Samples, Lisa Todd, Roni Stoneman, Gordie Tapp, Lulu Roman, and Kathy Baker will highlight the show, as well as quality musical entertainment by “The Summerville Hee Haw Band”. Special musical performances by Cathy Worley and Charlie Long at all shows and the Maddox Family Blue Grass Group at 7 & 9 pm shows!

Three shows will be presented on Saturday. Shows are scheduled for 3, 7, and 9pm. Doors will open for seating 15 minutes prior to show time. Seating is limited. Concessions will be available on site and advance tickets are on sale now at Summerville City Hall for $15 each. Tickets may also be purchased by phone at (706) 859-0900 and can be picked up on site.
