Nancy Lea Ramey Owens

Mrs. Nancy Lea Ramey Owens, age 63, of Summerville, GA, died Monday, July 8, 2019, at Floyd Medical Center.

Mrs. Owens was born April 4, 1956, in LaFayette, GA, daughter of the late William F. and Bertie Louise Nichols Ramey.  She was a homemaker and a member of United By Faith Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Harold Ray Owens and Nellie Emmer Owens.

Mrs. Owens is survived by her husband, Dannie Owens; son, Billy Sutton; daughter, Christy (Fred) Hixon; brothers, Larry Ramey, Harold (Patsy) Ramey; sisters, Jane Crider, Carol (Hubert) Adkins; brother-in-law, Tony Owens; grandchildren, Thomas Cribbs, Joshua Hixon, Madalynn Hixon, Elizabeth Sutton, and Jordan Sutton.

Funeral services for Mrs. Owens will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 11, 2019, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sanford DeBerry and Rev. Barry Brown officiating.  Interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery.

Mrs. Owens will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Thursday.
