Welcome Hill Baptist Church will hold homecoming Sunday, July 28. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Special singing will by the Pruitt Family.
DeWayne Howard will be bringing the message.

Local Church Group Visits The Ark With A Copy Of The News

A group from the Summerville Pentecostal Worship Center went to visit the Ark in Williamstown, Ky. and a copy of The Summerville News went with them on July 11. Ken Ham is the founder. The group also got to hear him speak. He preached a great message from the Word of GOD and the walk through the ark was amazing. Pictured are Richy White, Connie Bramlett, Carla White, Marlene Watwood, Peggy Campbell, Brenda Martineau, Carolyn Colbert, Pam Marshall, Sheila King, Monette Crabtree and Greg and Denise Fullbright. The group said they had a great time of fellowship and The Ark was a great place to visit with your family.

At Hemphill
Hemphill A.M.E. Zion Church will hold its Men’s Day Celebration “A Strong Anchor” at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27.
Dinner will be served after the program.
Pastor Charles A. Watkins invites the public.

Harrisburg Church of Nazarene will host a singing at 6 p.m. Saturday.
The featured artists are Open Heart Harmony.
Harrisburg Church is located off Highway 337, on Harrisburg Road in LaFayette.
The public is invited.

There’s Hope For The Hungry
Planned At Lyerly First Baptist

There’s Hope for the Hungry will have free groceries for those in need the fourth Tuesday of each month at Lyerly First Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Tell a friend or neighbor – no ID required.
The church is located at 265 Tennessee Ave. in Lyerly.
