Two Arrested For Public Intoxication

Two Chattooga County residents were arrested on Hwy. 27 for public intoxication, according to a sheriff’s report.

Deputies were called to the area of 12500 Hwy. 27 to check on the welfare of two people that seemed to be intoxicated. Deputy Tony Edwards found Kendra Lynette Ammons, 26, and Justin Tyler Rhodes, 29, near a local motel in Pennville. They both had been drinking alcohol, according to the deputy.
