Stray Dogs Damage Summerville Woman’s Yard

Stray dogs are creating problems for one Summerville resident, according to a police report.

Teresa Johnson, of Bittings Avenue, said stray dogs come onto her property and uproot her termite stakes in the yard.

“She further states that one of the dogs acted as if it was going to bite her,” Officer Jo Stricklin stated.

Johnson thought the dogs, two brown ones, belonged to her neighbor.

“[I] went to the residence and spoke to the neighbor who stated that the dogs did not belong to them that they do sometimes feed them because they acted hungry,” Officer Stricklin stated. “[I] advised the complainant that [I] would do a report of the incident and that animal control would be out next date to try and deal with the dogs.”
