DUI Arrest: “Drinks 10 to 15 beers each day.”


A drug agent noticed two intoxicated people leave Ingles in a vehicle around 11:39 a.m. on July 23, according to Summerville Police reports.

Agent Caine Railey called the vehicle in when both parties were intoxicated inside Ingles, then left in a vehicle. Detective Ty Hutchins made a traffic stop on the vehicle because passenger Holly Marshall was not wearing a seatbelt,” Officer Matt Pritchard stated.

Officers stopped Rodney D. Henderson at Hwy. 48 near the Chattooga County Civic Center. Officer Pritchard not only smelled the alcohol, but he also was told by the driver that alcohol was a norm.

“He stated he drinks 10 to 15 beers each day. . .” Officer Pritchard stated.

Henderson was arrested for DUI and passenger Marshall was freed, according to an incident report.
