Summerville Police Reports. . .
A naked man was found lying on the ground in the parking area of the Summerville Housing Authority on Hill Street on Saturday night, according to a police report.
“The male subject was extremely confused and disoriented,” Summerville Policeman David Westbrooks stated.
A neighbor saw the naked man outside her apartment just prior to him falling on the ground in the parking lot.
“The subject had no family living with him and was unable to advise any family for officers to contact. An ambulance was called and transported the male to the hospital in Floyd County for treatment and evaluation,” Officer Westbrooks stated.
Officers also reported during the past few days, according to incident reports, that:
- Megan McCary, of McGinnis Circle, in Summerville, said someone stole 70 Gabapentin and 60 Clonazepam pills from her residence on Saturday. She has a suspect in mind and related that information to the police.
- Fallon Shireman, of Scoggins Street, said her boyfriend’s white 2010 Chevrolet Traverse was damaged by rocks. A man’s lawnmower slung rocks and allegedly damaged the vehicle as he drove it down the road.
