Two Vehicles Stolen In Chattooga County

Two vehicles were stolen in Chattooga County on Wednesday but investigators believe the thefts are not connected.

A 2005 red Chevrolet Silverado 1500 truck was stolen from a Mahan Road residence, according to Chattooga Sheriff’s Investigator Jason Burrage. He does not believe this theft is connected with another one that happened on the same day in Summerville.

The owner of R&R Auto, 10174 Commerce Street, said a thief broke the glass out of the front door of the business and entered. Then someone stole a red 2000 Pontiac Grand AM from the lot. The Pontiac belonged to a customer, Summerville Policeman Lebron Jackson reported.
