A Chattooga County deputy found a stolen vehicle that belonged to a person in Tennessee, according to an incident report. Deputy Tony Edwards was patrolling around 1:29 a.m. on Hwy. 114 when he noticed a silver Dodge pickup sitting on the lot of P&P Country Store, 9636 Hwy. 114, Lyerly, on Thursday.
“I ran the license plate displayed on the vehicle through E-911 and it came back as a stolen vehicle out of Bradley County, Tennessee. I had E-911 to confirm the hit with Bradley County. At this time, I had the vehicle towed to Gary’s towing impound lot with a hold for Bradley County,” Deputy Edwards reported.
