Paula Wilson Brooks
Mrs. Paula Wilson Brooks, age 86 of Summerville, passed away Wednesday, September 04, 2019 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Brooks was born in Lafayette, Georgia on July 1, 1933, daughter of the late Paul Wilson and Glenna Partain Wilson. She was a member of the South Commerce Street Church of Christ and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Roberson and two brothers, Burl Wilson and Gerald Wilson.
Mrs. Brooks is survived by a son, Stephen Brooks; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Joseph Jackson; sister-in-law, Nancy Wilson; 3 grandchildren, Dylan Jackson, Ethan Jackson and Brooklyn Jackson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Brooks will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Minister Hugh Glaze officiating. Private Interment will be in the Lafayette City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Jackson, Ethan Jackson, Dylan Jackson, Jim Wright, Jimmy “Booger” Bennett and Stephen Brooks.
Mrs. Brooks will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Saturday morning from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.
