Two People Had Their Bank Accounts Compromised

Terry Lane Adams, of Senior Drive, said a man claiming to be from the Social Security Administration called and asked him for his last four digits of his social security number and his debit card number. He gave that information to the caller. Later Adams noticed his bank account was missing $1,300.

Brandon Swinford, of Scoggins Street, Summerville, said Wednesday someone took his debit card out of his vehicle and made a $61.95 transaction.
