Bus Strikes Chattooga High School Dugout

A Gordon County bus driver accidentally struck part of a Chattooga High School athletic facility last Thursday evening, according to Summerville Police reports.

Valerie Clift, of Calhoun, accidentally backed a Gordon County school bus into a Chattooga dugout around 5 p.m.

“She had a busted left tail light on the bus and there were pieces of a broken lens on the ground at the corner of the dugout. There was minimal damage to the building. The accident did occur on private property. School officials requested an incident report for [Superintendent of Schools] Jared Hosmer,” Officer Matt Pritchard stated.
