Meth Found Inside Man’s Panties

A Summerville man tried hiding methamphetamine inside his panties Monday afternoon, according to police reports.
Scotty Hamitlon, 42, was near Susie Lane and a nearby church when officers stopped and questioned him about a verbal domestic dispute.
“While speaking to Mr. Hamilton, I observed him to be overly nervous, very talkative and having involuntary facial movements,” Officer Matt Wilson stated.
The officers asked to search Hamilton because they saw two pocket knives in his shorts pocket. During the search, Hamilton kept protecting his crotch area from police by leaning against a patrol car.
Hamilton admitted to Officer Matt Pritchard that he had something in his crotch area, but then recanted, according to a police report.
“Mr. Hamilton stated first he had a hernia on the right side but then stated he had a hernia on the left side. Mr. Hamilton had on pink women panties. Officer Pritchard advised again that here was a bulge inside the panties and Mr. Hamilton voluntarily pulled up his stomach to give units a better view into his crotch area,” Officer Wilson reported.
Immediately the spotted a small plastic bag of suspected meth.
“Officer Pritchard asked him is this his meth? Mr. Hamilton stated, ‘Well, yeah. Just go book me,’” Officer Wilson stated.
Hamilton was arrested for possession of meth, criminal trespassing and public intoxication.
