Summerville Police Reports. . . .

Summerville Police report the following activity during the past few days. According to incident reports, they are:

* Keith Owen Horton Jr., 19, of Fort Oglethorpe, was cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana on Monday morning. Officer Phillip Cox found Horton reclined back and sleeping in a car on the Summerville Train Depot parking lot. Horton had a small fire of trash burning next to his car.

* Allan Laney Treadaway, 57, of Summerville, was arrested at the Summerville Kangaroo Store on Lyerly Highway on Monday.

“Offender was in the parking lot of the above location, intoxicated being loud and boisterous. Had complaint from store clerk about subject’s demeanor. Had two large cans of beer he had just purchased on him. Got into an argument with clerk outside in my presence,” Summerville Policeman David Westbrooks stated.

Treadaway was arrested for public intoxication, according to reports.
