David Wayne Reece

Mr. David Wayne Reece, age 66 of Lyerly, GA passed away Thursday- October 3, 2019, at his residence.

Mr. Reece was born November 24, 1952, in Summerville, GA, son of the late James Earl and Mary Faith Story Reece.  He was a veteran of the United States Army, and prior to his retirement, was employed with Mount Vernon Mills.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Jean Reece Austin.

Mr. Reece is survived by his wife, Martha A. Reece; children, Wayne Reece, Sherry Wallin, Eric Wallin, Jerry Wallin, Gary Wallin, Felisa Brown, Trena Wallin, Jeffery Wallin, and Christopher Wallin; sister, Steve Austin; grandchildren, Brittany Wallin, Rhys Wallin, and Caleb Reece; and life-long friend, Clifford Gardner.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Reece was cremated and a celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
