Tesla Damaged During Road Rage Incident

A Huntsville, Alabama man said his 2018 Tesla was damaged during a road rage incident at the intersection of Hwy. 114 and Hwy. 27 in Summerville on Friday night.

Blake Dayton a man driving a Toyota car pulled up beside him at the intersection. The man in the Toyota got out of his vehicle and started walking toward Dayton. Instead of confronting the man, Dayton pulled around the man. As he passed by, the man hit the Tesla’s windshield and broke it, according to a Summerville Police report.

“[Dayton] was able to get the tag number of the aggressor and also has video footage of the attack from his onboard camera,” Officer David Westbrooks stated.

The tag number came back to another Huntsville resident.
