Woman Creates Disturbance At Local Pharmacy

A Summerville woman was cited for causing a disturbance at a downtown pharmacy on Wednesday, according to a police report.

Amber Carmen Sipsy, 36, of Trion, was allegedly very loud and disruptive both inside and outside of Economy Pharmacy at 9881 Commerce Street, Suite A.

“[Sipsy] was making loud and boisterous accusations of having an affair,” with one of the people in the pharmacy, according to Summerville Police Officer Phillip Cox. “[Sipsy] smelled strongly of alcoholic beverages and was found to be in possession of a [partially] consumed bottle of Fireball Whiskey.”

Sipsy was cited for disorderly conduct and public intoxication, according to a report.
