Business Employee Calls Cops On Upset Customer

An employee with a local loan business had to call the cops after a customer became upset Friday afternoon, according to Summerville Police reports.

Employee Robert Lackey said a man came into Courtesy Finance, 9735 Rome Blvd., Summerville, and wanted to know the payoff on a loan. The man was unhappy about the payoff amount and began to argue with the worker. During the argument, the man used profanities and racial slurs, Officer Roy Williams stated.

When Lackey said he was calling the police, the customer left.
