Man Arrested For Allegedly Shoving Girlfriend

A local man was jailed on Halloween night after allegedly shoving his girlfriend, according to Summerville Police reports.

James Monroe Dixon, 24, of 140 Scoggins Street, Summerville, was arrested for disorderly conduct around 11:49 p.m.

“Offender was involved in a dispute with his girlfriend (Amanda Terry) and did physically shove her down on the bed during the dispute,” Officer David Westbrooks stated.
