Aaron Hugh Moseley

Mr. Aaron Hugh Moseley, age 92, of Gaylesville, AL, died Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.

Mr. Moseley was born December 26, 1926, in Broomtown, AL, son of the late Fred Andrew and Treva Mae Mitchell Moseley.  He was a member of the Oak Hill United Methodist Church.  Mr. Moseley was retired from Riegel and was a self-employed farmer.  He was also a veteran of the United States Army, having served in World War II.  He was awarded the Meritorious Unit Award, the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Ribbon, Army of Occupation Ribbon (Japan), Victory Ribbon, Overseas Service Bar, and the Distinguished Unit Badge.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Moseley was preceded in death by his wife of 26 years, Hazel Yarbrough Moseley.

Mr. Moseley is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Kennith and Gloria Moseley, Douglas and Joy Moseley, and Phil Moseley; a brother, Fred Moseley; sisters, Imogene VanPelt and Dorothy Myrick; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Moseley will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 17, 2019, at Oak Hill United Methodist Church.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Brian Moseley, Chris Moseley, Brent Mobbs, Rusty Furman, Tracy Pate, Brody Mobbs, and Duane Yarbrough.

Mr. Moseley will be in state at Oak Hill United Methodist Church and the family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Sunday.

The family respectfully requests no food, and in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Oak Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund (P. O. Box 336, Lyerly, GA 30730).
