Someone broke into a Summerville residence and stole and damaged antiques, according to a Chattooga County Sheriff’s reports.
Linda Hurley, of Ellen Street, said someone broke through a backdoor to her residence and caused damage to the door frame.
“I did not notice any foot markings on the door but did notice three different scrape marks on the door but they were already starting to rust around the edges,” Deputy Derek Mitchell stated. “Ms. Hurley did advise me that she was missing an antique bed set and that two of the antique China cabinets had been damaged.”
