Ribbon Cutting Is Planned For Mountain Education Charter

The Chattooga County Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting for the Mountain Education Charter High School in Summerville at noon Monday.
It will be part of a open house for the charter school, which is located at 32 Maple Drive in Summerville (old elementary school building).
They will be inducting a new chamber member and touring this alternative option for high schoolers going for that diploma. Flexible, self-paced, attainable high school education is available now in Chattooga County.
The chamber, one the following day, Tuesday, will have its luncheon with members of the charter school speaking. Jim’s Family Restaurant is catering the event.
