(Updated) Chad Barns

Mr. Chadwick Boyd “Chad” Barnes, age 48, of Summerville, GA, passed away Friday December 20, 2019.

Mr. Barnes was born March 28, 1971, in Summerville, GA, the son of Patty Lou Boyd Barnes and the late Junior Clyde Barnes.  Mr. Barnes was employed with Storey Lumber Company, and a member of the Berryton Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Tiffany Nicole Barnes; daughter, Rayegan Blane Barnes; son, Micah Bailee Jones; mother, Patty Lou Boyd Barnes; and brother, Tony Barnes.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Barns will be held at 12:00 noon Monday- December 23, 2019 at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel  with Rev. Malcolm Harris and Rev. Mickey Skates officiating. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Bailee Jones, Randy Jones, Kevin Gorham, Darryl Huskey, Josh Barnes, Josh Bryan, and Franklin Selman.

Mr. Barnes will lie in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Sunday December 22, 2019 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m.
