Where Did The Money Go?
A local woman is wondering how her money disappeared, according to Summerville Police reports.
Charm Hedgecoth, of Summerville, cashed a check at a local finance company in the amount of $514.39.
“The money was not counted back to her inside the bank, but was instead placed inside an envelope and handed back to her,” Officer Steve Bates stated.
When she got home and checked the money, she only had $8.30 inside the envelope and she didn’t have a receipt, according to reports.
# 1 – I have never been to a bank and they don’t count your money back to you.
# 2 – You always check your money before you leave the bank.
SHE DIDNT GO TO A BANK. IT SAID SHE WENT TO A LOCAL FINANCE CENTER. LIKE COLUMBUS FINANCE OR A TITLE PAWN PLACE, NOT A BANK.
you are correct. she shoulda counted that money first. . . .
BUT IT DOES SAY THE MONEY WASN’T COUNTED BACK TO HER INSIDE THE BANK
