A defensive coordinator at South Pittsburg, Tennessee, has been named the head football coach at Chattooga High School.
Chattooga County Schools Superintendent Jared Hosmer confirmed that Shawn Peek will take the place of Chattooga Head Football Coach Charles Hammon, who resigned late last year.
“[Peek] will be introduced at Chattooga High School this Friday at 8 a.m. at a press conference and will also be available at the home basketball games Friday evening. The public is invited to attend. We are very excited to have Coach Peek join our tribe and look forward to the experience and success he will bring to our already thriving program,” Supt. Hosmer said.
