Summerville Police Reports. . . .

The Summerville Police reported during the past week, according to incident reports, that:

  • Kami Len Stokes, 36, of Cloudland, was arrested in the Ingles Parking lot around 9:15 p.m. “[Mrs. Stokes] went to [Elm Street] to the residence of Carrie Nichols making threats of bodily harm to the victim. Victim stated that [Mrs. Stokes] had texted her and showed [me] the text message that she had sent. Victim told [Mrs. Stokes] not to come to her residence but did anyway with intent to start a dispute,” Summerville Policeman David Westbrooks stated. “Upon hearing that law enforcement was on the way, [Mrs. Stokes] got into her vehicle and left the scene before officers could arrive. Subject was stopped at Ingles Parking lot of Hwy. 114.”
    She was arrested for disorderly conduct and loitering and prowling.
  • Kayla Faye Hudson, of Church Street, Summerville, said someone took parts off her vehicle while it was stationary on Scoggins Street last Thursday. Her key, title, battery, shop vacuum and other parts of the vehicle were taken. The items were valued at $500.
