Menlo Buys Security Vehicle; All Fire Hydrants Serviced

The City of Menlo bought a security vehicle after the one they had begun having problems.
The cost of the new vehicle was $3,300.
The council also voted to close City Hall on Tuesdays and Thursday to catch up on some work that needed to be done. There will be a drop box for customers to drop their payments.
City Maintenance Director Sid swords told the council that all of the fire hydrants had been worked on and serviced. There are plans to move one of them.
In other business, the council:
* Approved their annual fire department dinner at a cost of no more than $1,000;
* Approved buying a manual for servicing fire hydrants for the fire department.
