At the end of the first day of qualifying for political offices in Chattooga County, a few politicians have decided to run or seek reelection.

Those that have qualified so far include:

County Commissioner

  • Jason Winters (incumbent) (Republican)
  • Jeff Coley (Republican)

Probate Judge

  • Gary Woods (Republican)
  • Derrick Eckroat (Republican)
  • Teresa Pope (Republican)

Chief Magistrate Judge

  • Tracy Maddux (Incumbent) (Republican)

 

Sheriff

  • Mark Schrader (Incumbent) (Republican)

Coroner

  • Earle Rainwater (Incumbent) (Democrat)

School Board

  • Eddie Elsberry (Incumbent) (Democrat)
