Deadly chase ends in Trion

The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department was involved in a vehicle chase that ended with the fleeing suspect shooting himself.

A deputy tried stopping a red Jeep in the Pennville area but it would not stop. The chase headed north on Hwy. 27 toward Trion.
The vehicle slowed near the Chattooga River Bridge and the driver shot himself.  The gunshot was fatal, according to Trion Police Chief David Gilleland.

    Really ..shot himself. Sounds to me like maybe he didnt. Maybe he did. But who the hell wld say so if he wasnt the one who killed himself. Damn sure not him
