Dennis Lesley “Tubbins” Tucker, 73, Menlo, died April 7 at Floyd Medical Center, Rome.
Mr. Tucker was born July 10, 1946, in Menlo, son of the late Roy Lesley and Cora Isabelle Spraggins Tucker. He was a member of Chesterfield Baptist Church and he had worked as a bus driver for the Chattooga County School System. He was also retired from Best Manufacturing where he worked as a truck driver. In addition to his parents, a son, Brian Avery Tucker died earlier.
Surviving are his wife, Jeannie Wade Tucker; a son, Jason (Rebecca) Tucker; brother, Ralph (Martha) Tucker and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current health concerns for our community, visitation and funeral services for Mr. Tucker was held privately for the immediate family only.
Bobby Cavin officiated. Interment was held privately at Alpine Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Shane Tucker, Wayne Boyd, Lee Majors, Brandon Croy, Charles Davis, and Benji Stanfield.
Honorary pallbearers were Mike Ramey, Jr., Terry Majors, Larry Burnette, Ronnie Croy, Lamar Spraggins, Mike Jarrett, and all personal friends.
Mason Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
