Donna Lee Longley Band

Mrs. Donna Lee Longley Bandy, age 60, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 11, 2020, after a long and difficult fight with cancer. The disease robbed Donna of her life on this earth, but now she walks the streets of gold, hand and hand with Jesus.

Donna was a simple soul and led a simple life. She loved to laugh at life in general, had a quick temper, but rarely had a cross word to say to anyone. She loved to tell stories about aliens, UFOs and ghosts. She was that person in a crowd who may open their mouth and say the most absurd thing, but no one paid any attention. Donna was a very unique and loved individual and will be missed by all.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, John Duel Bandy; her parents, Joyce Phillips and Auburn L. Longley, Sr.; and a brother-n-law, Randall Smith.

Donna is survived by her son, Luke Duel Bandy; her cat, “Punk”; sister, Jeanne Smith; brother, Auburn (Sherry) L. Longley, Jr.; sister, Judy Blackwell; stepfather, George Phillips; stepsister, Kathy (Alvin) Horton and many nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Donna is to be cremated and will be laid to rest between her mother and grandmother at the Summerville Cemetery. A small celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date.
