Roy Lee Mason
Roy Lee Mason, age 68, of Summerville, GA passed away Friday, June 19, 2020, at Floyd Medical Center.
Mr. Mason was born October 17, 1951, in Trion, GA to the late Robert and Pauline Wesson Mason. He had worked at Best Manufacturing, Smith Iron Works, and J-Bar. Mr. Mason enjoyed spending time with his children.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Darla Minard; and sister, Mary P. Mason.
Survivors include his son, Roy Lee Mason, Jr.; daughter, Andrea Faith Mason; and his ex-wife, Kelly Saylors Mason.
Graveside services for Mr. Mason will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Summerville Cemetery with Rev. Jason Lee officiating. Pallbearers will be Logan Fletcher, Anthony Hogue, Billy Joe Durham, and James Pierce.
Mr. Mason will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:30 until the hour of service on Tuesday.
The Mason family along with the Staff of Mason Funeral Home encourage those in attendance to bear in mind the current guidelines and restrictions that have been set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings.
