Martha Bea (Tucker) Thomas, age 81, of Summerville, GA, passed away Friday- July 3, 2020 in Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Thomas was born September 27, 1938 in Cedar Bluff, AL to the late David Thomas and Jessie McRae. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and was retired from Mohawk Industries.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Eugene “Gene” Thomas, who died on January 21, 2020; sisters, Willie Dendy, Juanita Tucker, Emma Sue Marshall; & brothers, Autis Tucker, Carroll Tucker, Watt Tucker, Hoyt Tucker, Billy Tucker.
Survivors include her son, Brian and Krystal Thomas; foster sons, Michael Joe and Teresa Tucker, Billy Ray and Georgia Tucker, David Tucker, sisters, Frances Norton, Ann Brown; brothers, Leon and Becky Tucker, John and Brenda Tucker, & Jamie and Linda Tucker; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a special niece, Skylar Tucker.
Family graveside and interment services will be held at 10:00 am Monday- July 6 at Greenhills Memory Garden with Michael Painter officiating. Pallbearers will be Charles Sizemore, Matthew Gilbert, Anthony Tucker, David Fletcher, Jackie Marshall, and Brian Thomas.
Visitation will be held privately.
Due to the current health concerns related to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Thomas family along with the Staff of Mason Funeral Home encourage those in attendance to bear in mind the current guidelines and restrictions that have been set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings.
