Local Arrested For Carrying A Conceal Gun
A Summerville woman was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon into a local dollar store Monday, according to a police report.
Amber Farmer, of 55 Hilltop Drive, was confronted about the gun while at the Dollar General Store, at 10551 Commerce Street.
She was carrying a loaded Remington 9mm handgun.
“The offender did not have a valid weapons carry license at the time contract was made. The offender advised that she was told that she could carry the handgun because her husband had a valid weapons carry license,” Summerville Police Officer Lt. Tim Fulmer stated.
Farmer was cited for carrying a weapon without a license, according to a report.
