Car Abandoned On Church Lot For Months
A member of the Reliance Redemption Center, off Congress Street, said a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse was sitting on the lot and it had been there for “the past couple of month,” according to a Summerville Police report.
The church member said they left several notes on the vehicle hoping the owner would move it. But no one did. Summerville Policeman David Westbrooks told the church member that the church could hire a towing company to remove it.
“The caretaker advised that he would have the vehicle towed off the lot by Fulmer’s Wrecker Service if anyone came looking for it,” the officer reported.
